"Such a lovely cool hotel with fabulous views. Large window in room which was great with the fantastic views. I only stopped one night but would definitely be worth stopping a bit longer to take advantage of what the hotel offers and some of the trips. Very spacious room. Complimentary coffee. Food served all day. Very easy to get to from Tromso, fab journey, great scenery. My trip was April, but would like to return during the winter. Great."

"The property was nice. Easy to get to and the staff are accommodating. We got two rooms with 2 beds. They are big enough for two people and baggage in each room. The bathrooms are shared in the hallways. Each bathroom is private and has a shower. Very clean and warm during the cold winter. Never had issues waiting for the bathroom. There were 4 bathrooms on each floor. The main building had a bar and a lounge to hang out in. Tea, coffee and water offered all day for free. Would stay here again. "

"Very clean room with spacious bathroom. Heating in both worked very well. Excellent convenient location across the road from the main ferry terminal (for the Hurtigruten and Havila coastal voyages) and Airport Express Bus stop. Local bus stops, supermarket, shopping mall with pharmacy, Tromso's pedestrian high street (Storgata) and northern lights tour meeting points are all within 5 minutes walk. My arrival was delayed by 17 hours due to the last minute cancellation of 2 long haul connections...

"A great stay and very unique in style not something you find in many Hotels. The reception is very helpful especially Storm who understood my needs and very caring.The one thing I didn’t like was the creaky floor boards particularly the corridors outside rooms at night it can be noisy. Highly recommended!"

"Very clean apartment,excellent for two people. Very useful having the supermarket on the ground floor. Regular bus service into the city as well. Cannot fault the communication. All access details clearly provided before arrival. The kettle in our room did not work and was replaced immediately when I emailed to report this."
