"We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library."

"This is a really unique and quirky property! We really enjoyed our room. We booked the top attic room with 5 twin beds and our kids/teens loved it! Really unique space with interesting history. I won't recommend it to people with mobility issues, as the stairs are steep and the ceiling has low beams. But for us it was a really fun experience. Other rooms may not be this way. "This is a nice clean hotel. The owner and his wife are amazing. They are hardworking. Rooms are basic ( 2 star ) but very clean and have AC. Breakfast is included and has multiple choices for everyone. We enjoyed our time there and the town and neighborhood are safe and very clean. We would stay there again ! "
