"Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. During breakfast we had a wonderful meal, and spent over an hour talking with Paolo about many interesting topics, from travel to politics. "I would recommend this place to a friend going to Stresa. A comfortable apartment, well located and relatively reasonable price. One important point is that the checkin is at Hotel Meeting one block down the street. If one does not know this one would have trouble. Expedia should do a better job of making this clear and I think Villa Maurice or Hotel Meeting should send an email explaining this to everyone who makes a reservation. That is my only criticism."
