"Very central to main shops and tourist sites. It's very modern but still needs attention . No toilet seats no dishes to put in oven, no kitchen towels or brush and pan . The couch was very uncomfortable and was a bet that was broken. Bno information on how to use facilities. The door key code was handle was difficult at first not the key box . I would stay again if the couch was replaced and toilet seats fitted. I sent pictures to Smart flats for there attention."

"We only stayed for one night whilst the Christmas market was on. Hotel is very convenient to the centre and trams are a short walk away. The gentleman on reception was lovely and very helpful. Lots of interesting traditional furniture and artefacts in the hotel. Room was large with a modern bathroom. "

"The entire experience was great. The location was ideal, room was clean and spacious. The property was very clear and swift on instructions for checking in and parking. Also dog friendly. Overall would recommend The Hide to absolutely everyone travelling to Ghent. "

"It's an ok hotel, not luxury, moderately comfortable but the rooms are small and the bathroom has no door. It's a novelty to stay on a boat and the bar is pretty good (when it's open). I wouldn't pay extra for the breakfast, again it's ok but nothing better than that. "

"The room was nice...cozy...shower ok bathroom is outside but next door. The kitchen didn't have any cooking oil so I asked the lady at the reception if she could provide me something. She said no...I had to insist a lot so that she called her boss who told her to buy a bottle of oil at the shop in front of the hostel. She could have been more attentive and proactive. But the lady at the reception next day was really friendly."

"Spent two nights here while attending the passchendaele 100 memorial events and I was pleasantly surprised how large and comfortable the room was, especially the bathroom which was huge. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of good quality coffee hot croissant's and fruit bread. We booked an evening meal on the second night and it really was fantastic, the locally produced steak was cooked to perfection and cray fish starters were delicious. This is a family run hotel and it's abundantly clear ...

"Apartment was large, right in the city centre with everything around it. There was a supermarket opposite, bars and restaurants within 2 mins walk. The flat was clean and spacious with a nice little balcony outside to have a drink, even if the view is not brilliant, a nice bonus in the city centre. Beds were comfy, heating was easy to control. The kitchen was large and so was the dinning table. The only small minuses were the lack of a microwave and iron, and maybe a soak matt for the shower...

"Accommodations was very out dated and didn't feel clean. I was bitten from head to toe. Overall it wasn't relaxing."
