"A simple lodge with awesome views! I was gently greeted by the rising sun. No Aircon but temperatures were between 16 to 18 degrees Celsius in the early morning. You need to be moderately fit to climb down 2 flights of stairs to reach your room. The road up is very tight and big cats may have difficulties going uphill in the tight environment. Hotel manager Priyanatha helped me book a very punctual Tuk Tuk that fetched me up and down. Thank you!"

"We stayed at the Villa Tea Fields for one night during our visit to Nuwara Eliya. The room was clean/combortable, bathroom was newly renovated/modern. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. The balcony was a great place to relax, read a book, take in the view of the garden - very pleasant experience. We highly recommend the Villa Tea Fields if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya. "

"Ella's Nature Nest is a beautiful spot to spend a few days in a peaceful setting. Close to town, but quiet, the owners are welcoming and hospitable and breakfast is included (not mentioned when booking). Wonderful location to wake up to with stunning views and birdsong. Highly highly recommended."

"You'll have to step onto a narrow path that sometimes goes up, sometimes goes down, takes a turn or two to the left, to the right, to finally emerge in front of "Silver Dome Guest House". Mind the map to arrive there for taking a wrong turn is easily done, especially during night time. "A delightful stay and made memorable by the efforts of Ashen our host. He went above and beyond the call of duty in order to assist us in achieving the maximum in the minimum amount of time. From organising a cooking class to massages to organising a wonderful comfortable car and driver to get us from Ella to Kandy with a visit to nine bridges on our way. "

"Booked on advance. When we got there, they had given away our rooms x3 to other guests and couldn’t accommodate us. Took our money and still no refund. Shocking. We were left at 9pm at night scrambling to book room for 6 guests. "
