"Unfortunately although we had planned to stay overnight in Turckheim, our usual hotel had to close for emergency work, so this booking was a last minute decision. Although the location was right, we felt that the accommodation was very basic. The bathroom was clean but rather threadbare, with no extractor fan although it was in the corner of the bedroom. Parking was extremely difficult, and we had some distance to access the hotel carrying our luggage. We could not leave anything in the car...

The bathroom shower was difficult to close and let water go everywhere and we only had two towels for three people. The breakfast was ok, not great. Two of the three rooms we booked were clean but the third had been smoked in very recently and smelled bad. "
