"This is a little gem. The word "hostal" is not indicative here. It is more like a small boutique hotel. Yes, the rooms are small. Also decorated BEAUTIFULLY. Great attention to detail. Lots of free parking in the park one block down. The owner is terrific and helpful. Everything is immaculate and new. Great air conditioning. We loved it!!!"

"This is a lovely villa about 10 minutes from Ronda. Our room was decorated in a minimalist, but comfortable style. Bathroom was large and nice. Pool was beautiful, right on the side of the ravine under the hotel, and perfect for the small number of guests at the villa. Innkeeper Sophie, who just took over the property recently, was extremely pleasant and helpful. We rode their wonderful horses, ate delicious meals, and truly enjoyed just spending time at the inn and and on the grounds. We could explore the fun and busy nearby white villages, but we were always so happy to return to our "home" at Tambor. "

"This place is hard to rate as it really depends on what you are looking for. Location is 10/10. We loved our stay here. Our goal was to be upon the mountains to do that and this place was perfect. we did several hikes directly from our front door. The views are spectacular, and you are well out of the hustle bustle of the city. There are not a lot of restraunts and you will need to get food and the small stores in ubrique.
