"We had a fantastic stay at Mar Vista.. Nicole and the front deak team made check in really easy and took great care of us all weekend with dining recommendations and fun places to go see with our dog. This property is Very dog freindly and made our big guy feel bery welcome Our room was very clean and kept that way thanks to Olga. The room was bright with an entire wall of windows, we were in the King/Pet accesible room with bathtub. I highly reccomend a stay at Hotel Mar Vista, we will absolutely be back."

"Everything was great, and would have gotten 5 stars, except for the dog barking. People are so rude leaving their dog in their hotel room to bark, bark, bark when they go out. Really. Not cool when people are trying to sleep. Had to complain to the manager, who called the owners. Who are people so inconsiderate "

"Great room*, comfortable beds, clean, quiet - good shower/bathroom set up, and big TV. Would come back to that room again. *They have nice room pics and not so nice room pics. I specifically asked for a room that would match the 'nice room' pics on expedia. So was moved to a different room. Because of this, the new room had not been warmed up, so was freezing upon entry. Minor inconvenience. Honestly, a hotel/motel should not SHOW nice rooms online to get you to book and then bait and switch customers. Update all your rooms. "
