"The room was fine. The adjoining restaurant was very under staffed and the menu should have been limited to a few items that could have been made by the lonely cook. We wait a long time and then we had to leave. The server was great and did make us a nice salad. They were promoting the restaurant and should not have until they made adjustments to the menu or found some help in the kitchen. "

"Stayed in Deluxe King Room. It has a mini fridge but the hotel does not carry microwaves. The hotel is beautiful. Bathroom remodeled & nicely done. Room is very quaint. Wasn't able to visit tavern because its closed on Sunday & Monday's. Pool is very large & the water is warm. Property is very well maintained. Worth the price. Ask for Dayton at the front desk. Great personality, very energetic, will take good care of your stay from start to finish. Staff is very nice & pleasant. "

Outside of a less than friendly welcome and a reminder that check in time is 3:00 by housekeeping staff when we arrived at 2:00 following a 6 hour drive :-/, our stay was excellent. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast area and Lobby were always clean and breakfast selection was more extensive than comparable properties we have recently stayed at. There is no shortage of excellent dining options in drivable range with a few within walking...
