"The hotel is old but clean and very convenient to all the central areas of interest. The staff was great especially Angela! She was the most helpful and friendly person I met this vacation. Always a smile and volunteered to carry our luggage (in fact insisted) up the 70 steps to the room. She helped park our rental car in the courtyard and answered all our questions. "We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. Staff was incredible friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We had such a unique room that had 2 floors (bathroom on the bottom floor, sleeps 4 in total, and a small private outdoor sitting area). We had easy outdoor access to our room, steps away from the Hotel's own restaurant which was lovely and was an very convenient. "Good place for short stays or budget accommodation. Close to centre and bus services. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Facilities were good and cleaned daily. Staff were very helpful, the head cleaner is a bit abrupt but she just wants to get the cleaning done on time."

"The room was nice. Be sure to not try to walk to this property from the train station. Google maps says 34 minutes, but half of it is a mountain trail, steep and narrow. We should have turned back, but we kept thinking, "we can make it." We did, barely. Took an hour and a half with luggage. "
