"Lovely friendly Hostel. Currently being renovated and new rooms will be modern and bright. We stayed in one of the older rooms which was functional for our visit but basic as we expected. A kettle would have been a bonus but hopefully in the upgrades this will be available. We loved stunning Altea - and the view from the roof was amazing, we would definitely come back to the area. "The hotel is a small family run affair. Lovely hosts. Very friendly and helpful. We booked a double room and they offered us a choice of rooms: the double or a choice of 3 apartments they have. We chose a first floor apartment which obviously had more facilities than the double room and it was lovely. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful 4 night stay. Would recommend for an inexpensive break. "

"This is a lovely hotel and my room was so cute, however I have a sensitivity to scents and this hotel has quite a variety of scented accessories. From the moment you step into the lobby the smell of whatever they are using is quite strong, incense perhaps. My room was in the basement level and besides it having a bit of a damp smell I was literally overcome with the power of the scented candles in my room, it was so bad I had to ask the desk clerk if she could remove which she graciously did,...

"Best thing about this hotel - first drop off and last pick up for the airport transfers. 3 min walk to the beach. Brilliant for couples as old town is on the doorstep. 25/35 min walk to the square which is easy enough to find. Clean hotel room. Wasn't expecting much as its quite small and 'local' but really powerful shower and lovely staff who served us solaros at 1am each night. Would definitely go back."
