"The Hotel Casabermeja is an excellent place to overnight en route from or to Malaga. It is a good example of a traditional Spanish travellers' stopping place. We arrived at 22.55 and, even though the kitchens close at 23.00, they stayed on and gave us an excellent supper. "Great location I’m the mountains, but you are certainly off the beaten track on this one. We had a car so it wasn’t particularly onerous, but it still took quite some time to get to places as it was quite far inland. "

The discomfort of hot rooms with bunk beds so low you cannot sit up in them and at times not-so-clean bathrooms is abundantly compensated by an extremely friendly staff and relaxed, nice atmosphere.
