She doesn't speak French, so she was very impressed with the staff ability to communicate with her and help her with all her needs. Customer service is what made this property to stand out. "Lovely, well appointed gem in the quiet hamlet of Cognac. Terrific staff and Michelin Star dining on property - too much food! The pool is heated, convenient short walk from our room and the surrounding spa and amenities are outstanding. However, I cannot say enough about the impeccable staff who made us feel welcome at Christmas,"

"Lovely, quirky hotel right in the middle of the city so very convenient for everything. The receptionists were excellent, so bright and helpful. Particularly helped with the parking as it’s quite tricky when the small car park is busy.
