"Staff are lovely and so friendly. Breakfast was great. Only thing for me in terms of improvements is the rooms could do with an update, bathroom was lovely and looked recently refurbished but the bedroom was a little dated, maybe an upgraded bed and TV (and I appreciate we're in the most beautiful place in Wales so who needs a TV but after a long day of hiking I know I love to kick back and chill out, especially when it's February and too cold to sit out) and nowadays most hotel rooms have smart...

"Clean, well presented accommodation. Plenty of parking, free of charge and directly outside rooms. Easy check in and check out. Pub on site offering food - very friendly and helpful staff. A little walk into town, probably a good 10 minutes. However, can drive in and out as parking plentiful. Only £6 for taxi right to the sea front. Would stay again "

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "

"Jo Stephen are warm and welcoming, very friendly and attentive. The hotel is perfect for us, warm clean and cosy, a wonderful location, with the most magnificent views of the bay. The sunrise from bed this morning was incredible 💖 many thanks to Jo Stephen for looking after us during our stay, lots of tips on local knowledge. Carparking very convenient too. Lovely stay"

"Lovely large room! With a jacuzzi bath, just a shame the jets didn’t work. We were staying to scatter friends ashes so didn’t spend much time in the room. Bed was comfortable and large, room was clean and tidy. Plus we had a wonderful sea view! "

"An excellent 2 night stay in a single room in the Gwydyr Hotel, Betws-Y-Coed. My room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. We were a party of 7 plus a dog celebrating a 50th Birthday. We ate in the hotel both evenings and we all enjoyed our food. The breakfast menu included continental and cooked food which was well presented and delicious. There was plenty of space to relax in the comfortable lounges. All the staff were were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Pricewise I would say...
