"I've booked for two nights. At arrival they couldn't find our reservation to begin with. After waiting for 45 minutes the gave us a key to a room on the 1 floor. My room was the last on the corridor who was/in service. The other rooms after my room were out of service and there were safety shoes outside the room next to the open doors. In the corridor to my room ware a lot a bags with food leftovers in there corner. They stayed there for more than 30 hours. Thats how long we manage to stay...

"The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. The pool and deck are great to relax in and watch the waves. The restaurant food was good (need hour notice for dinner). The rooms are really rustic and ours did not have AC. Also, note that there is not a public beach on Isla Grande. We spent all day at Coconuts on the other side of island at their beach and would probably stay there if we went again. We were traveling with 2 teens. "

"This is a very majestic Old hotel makes me think of the great roaring 20s huge and ornate! It lacks maintenance and upgrades! The pools are huge! It’s a grand old hotel ,"

The hotel is isolated but interesting although close to a major and noisy road.Staff we met were kind but very low key which was no problem.Room was spartan but clean.As Colon is a pretty rough city this hotel is a good alternative to the city centre hotels where your mobility is limited due to the risk of violence."

"First, when you get to the place you get a huge hill which isnt really easy to get up, they would send someone to help you getting your car up. The place is really nice and quiet. A lot of mosquitoes since its basically a mountain, there is a -jungle- next to the area. Moving around isnt that easy but the staff is willing to help. Had a really long waiting time for the Caribbean Restaurante they work with deliver the food (took around 1 hour and 20 minutes to get a octopus fillet and a pizza)...
