"We stayed there after the walk from Inle Lake before we travelled on. We could wash our shoes in the backyard which was necessairy! The Lady at the reception is very friendly. For one night it is ok, but there us not much to do in Kalaw."

The hotel receptionist told us there are no room in the town now. This business practice is unethical. The hotel sold my room for very high price due to greed. We were stranded . "Good backpacker hotel/hostel. Staff and owner were very nice and helpful. They would do anything for you. Let us check in early after all the trekkers left in the morning and they cleaned the room for us right away. Booked great treking through them. Nice fire pit in evening to socialize with your fellow travellers. If hot water is not working just ask as the system seems to air lock sometimes, otherwise nice hot showers. Pancakes are standard for breakfast unless you ask for something else....
