"We absolutely loved our time here! The house was perfect for us - beautifully traditional and with everything we needed. We visited in late December and found it so peaceful. We loved making fires at night, sleeping late, looking at the millions of stars in the dark sky, feeding the donkeys and enjoying the views over cups of tea and glasses of wine. Miguel was so helpful in suggestions for things to do - we had a delicious dinner in Estramoz at Gardanha. The Alentejo region is beautiful...

"The Place at Evoramonte is now my new favorite place to stay. The property is gorgeous! The rooms are so comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The views from the room, terraces, and patio are absolutely breathtaking. Vicki and Mitch were the nicest hosts, from the moment we arrived to the time we had to head home. "The hosts Miguel and Sandra were so sweet and accommodating and thoughtful to our every need. The rooms and the house is so luxurious but still with the comfy Alentejo vibe. Breakfast was amazing and varied with the hosts having breakfast with us (due to our invitation) and telling us local stories and cultures. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommended"
