"This small 2 star aparthotel really outshines some of the other 3 or 4 star hotels I've stayed in. They really take care of you and make you feel at home, with complimentary snacks, coffee, tea and fruit in the main sitting room that makes you feel like you're in cozy living room. There's artwork and carefully thought out finishes and touches everywhere. The hostess at the front desk, Adriana, was a gem! She was very kind and helpful with loads of information. "It was exactly as expected. Great staff, very helpful. But the hotel and its amenities are very old, in need of a renovation. Either way, it was a nice stay overall. Wide rooms and comfortable individual beds. Clean room and bathroom. We got a room with a terrace which was nice. "

"The hostel is new and very nicely designed in a good area, 1 block from Zurriola surf beach and under 10 min walk to the old town. Bare essentials kitchen and good wifi everywhere. There is a bar/cafe downstairs and the actual dorms are right next door in a residential apartment so you need to be peaceful in there. The owners David and Haritz are two of the nicest, hospitable guys you'll ever meet who will make your stay a memorable one. Also try the salmon toastie!"
