"Lovely room. Nice view. Always boats moving past. Good food and bar. Really nice staff. Decent spa and pool. Very good free parking. Our room didn’t have air conditioning but that wasn’t a problem for us. Lovely walks for many miles alongside the canal and river. "

"Our second visit here, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Balcony room leads out to a nice well-maintained space. Bathroom has an excellent shower, bed is comfortable and sizeable. Easy walking distance to the town centre, and a couple of excellent restaurants and pubs close by. Only slight downsides are that a bath would be nice, and even though there is a substantial breakfast buffet there is no facility for other meals or room service."

"This is a very pleasant German Gasthaus. It is basic, but clean and functional. The room is moderately sized, very clean and had a decently sized bathroom. I only marked the Staff & Services down because I never actually saw anyone working at the reception desk - my key was in an envelope on the desk when I arrived at 7pm and I dropped it in a glass bowl when I left.
