"The room is small but comfortable for one-maybe two. The shower is small and for a person bigger than my 5’10” 200 lb self I think that would be very uncomfortable. "The Hotel Casabermeja is an excellent place to overnight en route from or to Malaga. It is a good example of a traditional Spanish travellers' stopping place. We arrived at 22.55 and, even though the kitchens close at 23.00, they stayed on and gave us an excellent supper. The bar itself is open 24 hours with sandwiches and the like, and it serves a good Spanish breakfast. There is ample parking. Our room had a balcony with pleasant country views. "Great location I’m the mountains, but you are certainly off the beaten track on this one. We had a car so it wasn’t particularly onerous, but it still took quite some time to get to places as it was quite far inland. "

"Great boutique hotel. Wonderful owners. We did have a bit of a problem finding it. A building number on the front (street) side would help. A few more hooks and a toilet roll holder in the bathroom would also be nice. Wonderful restaurants and cafes only a block or two away, but it would be nice to have a coffee pot or kettle in the room, or coffee/tea available onsite in the morning. Definitely would stay there again though!!"

"We probably made a mistake of booking a one star which was too basic for our needs. There were some obvious things that should have been remedied - shower holder not working, bath enamel worn. The air conditioning worked well and the staff were very welcoming. Maybe a possibility if you just need somewhere for one night,"
