"Be aware that as of March 2025 ongoing roadworks is happening in the street that the property is on. They did email after the room was booked and gave me the option to cancel. It would be better to know this information before booking rather than after booking. It would be useful to have a mat by the entrance to the mainHallway to brush sand off shoes before entering building. There is a communal kitchen in the reception area where you can make teas and coffees, etc and take them to your room....

"The room is small but comfortable for one-maybe two. The shower is small and for a person bigger than my 5’10” 200 lb self I think that would be very uncomfortable. But the service and people were great. The guy working checked in on me via WhatsApp when I didn’t arrive when I said I was going to. "

"This was a short overnight stay. The property was on the edge of the Old Town and within walking distance of the train station. It was small but clean and comfortable. There are several restaurants and cafes in the area. The instructions to get in were clear and easy."

"The Hotel Casabermeja is an excellent place to overnight en route from or to Malaga. It is a good example of a traditional Spanish travellers' stopping place. We arrived at 22.55 and, even though the kitchens close at 23.00, they stayed on and gave us an excellent supper. The bar itself is open 24 hours with sandwiches and the like, and it serves a good Spanish breakfast. There is ample parking. Our room had a balcony with pleasant country views. "Lovely place, friendly and helpful owner. The room was nicely decorated and there is a really nice, large terraced area on the roof that is perfect for a little a chill. We used the terrace on the day of our checkout to shower and change after the beach. There is a cafe and supermarket just around the corner. "

"Great boutique hotel. Wonderful owners. We did have a bit of a problem finding it. A building number on the front (street) side would help. A few more hooks and a toilet roll holder in the bathroom would also be nice. Wonderful restaurants and cafes only a block or two away, but it would be nice to have a coffee pot or kettle in the room, or coffee/tea available onsite in the morning. Definitely would stay there again though!!"
