"This was a great central place to stay within walking/tram distance to shops and attractions. It was clean and a great place to stay for the basics. House keeping were efficient and cleaned up relatively well. Staff were friendly. It wasn’t excellent (or 10/10) but I would recommend for a basic stay. "

Its an old school 5 star hotel with nothing to complain about by any means but the rooms are perhaps ready for a bit of a revamp. Still perfectly clean, comfy and great of course. The cocktail bar was solid. Decent happy hour, moody, chill, had a great few drinks there. Location and that iconic entry and lobby was cool. Enjoyed the stay bit might try something a little more butique next time. "

"The place is quiet, even though it is close to Southern Cross. The bed was very firm. Shower was great. Rooms are small, but priced accordingly. Be sure to set the aircon lower, to keep room cool, but will turn on and off during the night. Great location for access to South Wharf, Docklands or the City"
