"We were put in the building in the back that looked and smelled like it had not been used in a year. The floor was soft in the bathroom like you were going to fall through it and the door to the room wasn’t closing. There was a 2 in gap at the bottom of the door. Also the smell in the room was god awful. And right outside our room was a broken down beat up old car that hadn’t moved in years it looked like. Needless to say I cut my losses and went to a different hotel. "

Now begins my spring trip to Hunting Island. A trip full of birds, low country coastal views, great food, and memorable experiences. We start on the road to Hunting Island. This long highway to the coast had a couple stops, and this one was for the field of flowers. Just off the road I stopped and walked around these beauties. I could have been here all day, but had to move quickly as the raid was coming.
