"The room faced the ocean and the view and the sound of the surf was priceless. A storm kept all but the bravest surfers away, and we spent half our time cosied-up watching and listening to the ocean. The staff, especially the cook, was friendly and eager to please."

There is a nice little bar and a shady terrace. Breakfast was fairly basic. The harbour in the village is lovely, and just 2 minutes walk away. Parking in Mundaka is challenging to say the least. "Bit of trouble accessing properly at first, as no access code came through!however it was sorted within 10min!by lovely memeb of staff!who worked in bar across road!!otherwise room/cleaning/was all good!Great shower!kitchen down below also good to have and washing machine and drying!only thing i have against is itz a 15 min away from central!so if you're looking to be bilbao itself??on a gd day!lovely walk along river!about 30min?i enjoyed walking along river!though a lot of changes going...

El tema fue como llegar, el navegador nos llevó por detrás por un camino que cada vez estaba menos señalizado y que en la noche parecía que llevaba a la nada. Igual el hotel está alejado pero el camino que va por el frente es mejor. Y la vista del mar es fantástica."

"The hotel is OK for a one night stay in order to take the ferry next day. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable enough. Unfortunately it is right next to an oil refinery which polutes the atmosphere. On a very warm night we were unable to leave the window open because of this."

"This was the worst place we have stayed in 7 weeks of travelling. Tiny room. Double bed against the wall. Bedhead freestanding & moves every time you roll over. Tiny bathroom. No room for cases. In house restaurant closed the 3 nights we stayed. Had to travel 10 kms to find an evening meal. Advertises that it’s 25kms from Bilbao, when it was more like 35km. Extremely noisy from any activity in the passage. Cleaning staff rolling their trolley up & down the passage from a very early hour. Best...
