"We enjoyed our stay, and the very central location, with several restaurants, a new Irish pub, and the Christmas market metres away. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The "julefrokost"was plentiful with a wide array of traditional Norwegian Christmas dishes. Our only complaint is that the food was on the cold side for our tastes, even when we showed up at opening time. We used the exercise room, and also enjoyed the second-floor lounge. "

"My family and I booked a family room for four through Expedia. Upon arrival, we found the room only had space for three. The receptionist said our reservation listed only two guests, but my booking clearly stated the room accommodated four. When I called back, I was put in touch with the manager, whose response was unprofessional. Rather than resolving the issue, she was confrontational and dismissive. "After a late arrival we found the check in to be very quick and efficient. A peaceful nights sleep was had, followed by a really nice buffet breakfast. I’m not sure if this was a standard breakfast for all Scandic hotels, but if it is I won’t be staying anywhere else in future. 10/10. "

"The hotel is about a 5 min walk from the transport services. We got the 42 from the airport to Sandnes bus station and the hotel is visible from there. The train to Stavanger is also in the bus area too so this made going out for the day really easy to navigate. We were on the top floor with some good landscape views. Breakfast was nice enough and plenty of bits to choose from "
