"This is basic accommodation but it was extremely clean and very comfortable. Excellent location, very central and very near an excellent cafe for breakfast. I would like to particularly mention the lovely family who run the Hostal. They were extremely kind and helpful. I would be happy to stay there again."

"Lovely friendly Hostel. Currently being renovated and new rooms will be modern and bright. We stayed in one of the older rooms which was functional for our visit but basic as we expected. A kettle would have been a bonus but hopefully in the upgrades this will be available. We loved stunning Altea - and the view from the roof was amazing, we would definitely come back to the area. "Very nice place to spend the night when visiting Guadalest. It’s only ten minutes away from the town and the castle. The location is blessed by a wonderful view of the whole valley down to the Mediterranean. Staff is very nice and the restaurant is excellent."

"Lovely little place, very friendly and extremely helpful staff, mostly Spanish custom, I think I only spoke to one other British visitor in the whole fortnight! Big Carp in the lake if you're into fishing, only problem being the access needs making a bit more disabled friendly. Could do with a bit more choice on the menu, but what there was, was very nice."
