"Paid transfer from port to property was 20€ per room. Taxi to property was 15€ per fare. Decide accordingly. Beach houses are not located on the property, per se. The staff will buzz you and luggage down to beach houses with golf cart when room is ready. Once there, you can walk to the beach. Private sunbeds and umbrellas must be reserved in advance, which we did and had for the day. Added that charge to our meal and drink charge at beach restaurant. "bad experience with the owners. took my passport and would not give it back until i checked out. they also tried to scam me so that they got double the amount of money they were supposed to. the place itself was okay but i would not stay here again, especially as someone from another country. the hotel seemed to be unorganized and did not look dirty but it felt dirty. "We arrived to Katerina after a disastrous day of travelling (lots of mix ups and confusion) and we were so realieved to be welcomed by the owner warmly. Firstly the owner was so so helpful, and friendly in general, at the hotel all day to help with any problems or advice or just for a chat. Great guy and made up want to return. "Was really nice for the price. Our room was small and we would have liked to have had a mini kitchen but we didn't. Although there are rooms there that have that, so make sure you request it before hand. The owners were lovely and accommodating and there is a little veranda to seat on him the evening to chill.
