"My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Naila Bagh Palace. The hotel is the home of the former Prime Minister of Jaipur during the 19th Century and remains in the family. It reminds me of the Marigold Hotel from the Movie. In its day this place was a grand residence and it has retained its character. The staff are great and the food is awesome. "Do not stay here! Based in an unsafe area, this is more of a night club than a hotel. Most of the facilities are broken (no shower, leaking toilet etc…) and the hotel struggled to find our booking. Staff were sleeping on the couches of the reception and could hardly speak our language- which I appreciate is to be expected when you travel to different cultures, but they made no attempt to translate or communicate with us when we asked for local directions.
