"I'm very selective about the hotels I stay in and I would rate the Adler HG as perhaps the highest scoring overall hotel I've staying in. "The location is very close to the Ortisei main town and is walkable. The neighborhood is very quiet and on a meadow overlooking the other Chalets on the Alpine meadows. The staff is also very warm and welcoming."

"Residence Iscarus is an older hotel in an apartment style building. The hotel receptionist Kat was fantastic! She was so sweet and helpful recommending restaurants and things to do. The hotel gave us free passes for public transportation while we stayed and information on the spa and gym nearby. The actual apartment was a bit older, but still clean and worked for us. It is walkable to the downtown area and parking was included. Thanks again to Kat who made the stay! "

"Great hotel that is easy walking distance to town. Very modern and clean, excellent customer service. Recently remodel with superb attention to details and high quality material. Only reason I give this a four instead of a five is that there is no air conditioning or fan, leaving the window open helped cool the apartment in July but also no screens so flies came in from near by cow feeding lot. Ski and hiking adventure in the immediate vicinity, away from the crowds, yet close to the center

A lovely apartment and hosts!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and Theo and Maria were such lovely and helpful hosts. They helped us with bike storage, gave restaurant recommendations, and more. The apartment was so nice and looked exactly like the photos, with it being on the colder side in Val Gardena when we stayed the apartment was so warm and comfortable. Just a short walk to the supermarket, restaurants and the little village. We hope to come back!"

Great service, great hotel

"We had a wonderful stay here during our time in Val Gardena. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and clean. The double rooms with a sharef bathroom was perfect for saving some money, but still having our own space. Breakfast was really good on the days we could have it (it starts at 7am which is kind of late for us so sometimes we had already left for the day). They also have cake and snacks every afternoon/evening. We were always able to get parking in the front parking lot which was easy. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is that they didn't have self service laundry. They do have laundry service, but we paid 80 euros for a week's worth of laundry for 4 people and it would be nice to just be able to do it ourselves to save time and money. "
